3 Tips to Find Real Estate Sellers

Finding Real Estate Sellers

If you ask a group of random leads / prospects or even past customers today “Do you want to move” they will say no, I don’t need to move”. Probably due to their insanely low house payment / interest rate. However, despite what they say, that doesn’t mean that they wont have an unplanned life event coming up in the near future. Life happens. Plans change.

Who are the people who need to sell? Thats your target. People that want to sell are already in the selling process and likely talking with someone – they are rare. Much more plentiful are people that need to sell but are not working with a realtor. Those that need to sell – they don’t care about the rate. Focus on those that are not going to be affected by market conditions – that way you will have a more solid foundation.

Real estate is the product. Our business is people. Talking to people is our business. You need to find 3-5 (Ideally 7) new people to talk to to grow your business EVERY DAY. Is it hard to talk to 5 people per day? No. You should belong to multiple streams of people in order to put yourself in the position to have the conversation. Volunteer. Coach. Golf. Church. What ever it is – those are groups of people that will trust you before they even know you sell homes. Take those conversations, and then add them to your database. Leverage your Revaluate account to find people most likely to sell in your database.
