Housing Wire Revaluate Review
The tech writers over at Housing Wire were kind enough to do a brief Revaluate Review. I thought most of it was spot on, with a significant exception.
“The best predictive analytics software that will give you a competitive edge in any market.”
Overall, they had very nice things to say about Revaluate. I thought it was a thoughtful review of Revaluate if a bit brief, but I get it. Their audience wants quick hits.
The Pros & Cons section (complete image from HW below) were pretty on point as well, However, I do question and take umbrage with the second Con bullet point. Here, they used the phrase “less precise than other real estate predictive tools”.
While this could be true, they didn’t cite any evidence nor a source. For this reason alone, it should not have been in the Revaluate Review.
From our data standpoint, there is no way of knowing if this is fact or not and I don’t know how they would either. However, we do know our accuracy, we have data and we can cite it.
Revaluate measures and reports our accuracy results with several methods as we track transactions in our dashboard for our users. I know of no other real estate seller prediction company that measures results with MLS data. IE “Did we correctly predict this listing?” Revaluate stands alone here.
Additionally, here’s a third party validation on Revaluate validity precision. I know of no other real estate seller prediction company that has had such a white paper published. Kinda makes me feel that they are hiding something, no?
The other bullet point thats a Con, is the ROI point. But, that relates directly to how good is the prediction, as we discussed above – we believe that Revaluate is the best in the real estate industry, and no of no one else with better results. Our cost is lower than most, thus the ROI would logically be higher for Revaluate than others.

Despite those small issues, I really appreciate the publicity (we didn’t pay for the review) and the kind words. Housing wire has been growing rapidly in the past few years and I’m exited to see whats next from them.
